Sabre City Park Estates: A Unique Build-to-Rent Community
Housing Trust Placer is in escrow to purchase 3.78 acres in Western Placer County. The site will hold 22 lots, and each will have a three- or four-bedroom primary home and a two-bedroom ADU. The development will be 100% permanently affordable housing.
The project will be designed to operate under a tenancy in common agreement. Under recently implemented ADU laws, this will allow a split of each lot into two parcels. When interest rates and market conditions are more favorable to first-time homebuyers, Housing Trust Placer may offer the units for sale to existing tenants and to other low-income families.
Penryn Road Multifamily Community
A multifamily community is being planned for a ten-acre commercial site right off of Highway 80 in Penryn, California. The community will have walking trails and easy access to a park and ride. A development partner will be selected shortly.
